Florida Keys Council of the Arts Annual Meeting
We promote; we connect; we support; we give

The Florida Keys Council of the Arts invites you to join us for our Annual Membership Meeting and Luncheon on Thursday, May 26 at 12:30 p.m. hosted by the Marathon Community Theatre.  The meeting will feature a presentation by artist, photographer and advisory board member Keith Bland discussing the creative process and his new publication “Sacred Spaces - Dawn Dusk.”

The annual meeting is an opportunity for members -- both new and renewing -- to share in the news and activities of the Florida Keys Council of the Arts as we continue in our mission to advance the creative development and promotion of the arts in our cultural community by providing excellence in leadership, advocacy, education and financial support for artists, cultural organizations, and citizens of Monroe County. “The State of the Arts” update will be presented by Arts Council Executive Director, Elizabeth Young.

As a countywide organization, the annual membership meeting is always held in Marathon at the halfway mark of the Florida Keys.  The  Marathon Community Theatre is located at Mile Marker 49.5 oceanside.  To reach the theatre coming from Key West, look for the Cracked Conch restaurant on your right as a landmark.  Coming from the Upper Keys, look for the big Marathon Liquor & Deli sign and turn left.  Ample parking is available.
